Hello support community, need your help please.
Back in January, we had stock on an item that was used in an assembly build out of warehouse #1 location.
1 month later, the customer returned the material to a different location (we'll call this WH#2). RMA was entered & the RMA/IR was received into WH#2. In order to get the components that were used in the original build (2 different item #s) back into WH#2, we went to the original build and processed an unbuild (changing the location to WH#2).
Today, WH#2 advised us that 1 of the components is broken so we went to process an inventory adjustment for the broken item & there is a current value of 0.00
When we look back at the unbuild, I can see that there was a change to the projected value, completed by the system.
I've included screenshots below for the item itself (you can see there is an average cost, purchase price & last purchase price), the GL impact on the unbuild, the system info for the unbuild & the inventory adjustment.
Please help me/us understand what happened here that caused the item to have a value of 0.00
