Outsourced Manufacturing Different Outsourcing Charges For Same Assembly Item
What is the correct way to setup an Assembly item that works with the MRP module that has outsourcing charges that can be ordered from 4 different Outsourced Suppliers with different prices for each supplier?
- Current setup is Inventory item purchased from Supplier | Sent out to Outsourced Supplier | Returns to warehouse as finished Assembly item
- Each Outsourced Supplier is setup as a separate Location linked to their Vendor record
- Assembly BOM = Inventory Item + Outsourced Other Charge item
- Also, the Assembly item + Outsourced charge can be purchased directly from 1 Supplier.
