How to Inventory Non-Owned Assets in NetSuite
How to Inventory Non-Owned Assets in NetSuite
Our company is in the shipping industry.
We would like to manage inventory for each vessel under our jurisdiction.
For example, which ship has which parts and how many parts.
However, the assets are not our company's assets, but our client's assets.
If we want to use NetSuite to manage the inventory of client assets that are not our company's assets, how can we achieve this?
In NetSuite, I believe that when a PurchaseOrder is created and entered into the warehouse, it is all treated as our company's assets.
We would like to treat them as customer assets, not as our company's assets.
