My Stuff
Hello Community! Josh Maxwell, a User Experience Researcher for NetSuite Foundation has fun a question for you. Imagine for a moment that NetSuite had an assistant like Alexa or Siri. What would you ask of your NetSuite assistant? Use this survey link to share your top questions to the assistant.
Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing.
"Did I pay vendor John Doe last month?"
"Take me to my largest sales order for this month."
"What invoices haven't been paid yet?"

I was able to find this after playing with the filter. These fields were not showing up when the Bundle filer was set to Any. But changing it to None made them show up. Any != All. Because software can sometimes make the user (me) dumb. Access type was set to Require Custom Record Entries Permissions. And both showed the…
-
@Eunice Fanoga-Oracle it is not listed under Record Types, active or inactive.
-
@Michelle Jabanes-Oracle I am able to find these pages. But I cannot find the actual list/record to double check that permission setting. I have looked at everything under the Customization, Lists, Records, and Fields and I am not seeing it. These are the url's for the pages where I can see and modify the data.…

@Didik Rohadi This worked. I was able to change the approval process to go to automatically approved and that took care of it. Thanks for your help!
-
Yes we are using a workflow for approval.
-
We are using the default check pdf and not a custom pdf. We have made no recent changes to the document or the form template.
-
Could someone please offer some assistance as to why this seems to have just started or a suggestion on how to disable the vendor ID from showing on checks?
-
Opportunity/Estimate Status is the field I was looking for but could not find. Thank you for your help. Workflow is in place and working as expected now. Thank you!
-
Tried this with setting the Item BOM as the last column from a single file and it worked! Google lead me down the path of it had to be 2 files when I was looking for a solution for the missing item member error that started this whole thing. Thank you for your help!

John - #68142 did not work as I am not trying to replace existing components or create new ones. I am trying to use an existing one on all new assembly items. Tris - I tried unchecking that box with both the single line BOM file and the one with matching lines for each unit. Neither one worked. I am still getting errors.…
-
I am not using the Advanced BOM. That setting is unchecked.
-
Here are the screen shots of the files. I split the assembly items file into 3 screen shots so the columns can actually be read. This is the related BOM file. John - I am not trying to create or revise an existing BOMs/Components. I am only trying to attach the existing component to the 340 new assembly items during the…

Is there a way with a workflow to set all of the open lines as closed?
-
This gives me an error for invalid expression when I try it.

State field is found under The Customer record and then the Address.
-
@Kristoffer Viray-Oracle you have strayed away from what I have been asking for assistance with. I understand that there are settings and enhancement requests that exist that may make this process easier. The root of what I am asking assitance with, is how to correctly format the formula so that the syntax is correct. This…
-
This is currently unchecked. I did not uncheck this today. It was already unchecked.
-
The State from the customer address is the default one in NetSuite. I assume you are asking for the custom secondary address field. Here is a screen shot of the secondary address state that is a Transaction Body Field and it does not have any validation or sourcing setup on it.
-
@Kristoffer Viray-Oracle I understand that this is expected behavior. There is a formula that will do what I need from converting abbrivation into a full state name. The formula at this link does the decoding that I need to convert the information. https://suiteanswers.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/32730/loc/en_US…
-
I would like the State column to always return either the full name of the state or the state abbrivation. Right now it returns a mix of full name and abbrivation as {custbody_vr_removal_add_state} returns full name and {billstate} returns the abbriviation.

Removing everything but that field did not fix the issue. The data was still showing multiple results. What I did find that worked was setting up a Case When formula to only show that data only when it is on the sales order, which is the only place that field exists. So it now will no longer show for other related records,…

@Leonard Mallare-Oracle Our Misc account is a different account number in our Chart of Accounts. But the saved search is set up correctly to match that account number. I added the logging and it is not showing that it is running the search after creating a deposit. It does successfully run the search when I edit and save…
-
@Leonard Mallare-Oracle The saved search in the UI is showing the deposits in the UI. Adding in the log.debug in the location you suggested is not being recorded. I added a debug log to the function afterSubmit and it shows that it is running that part of the script. At this point I think it is either not loading the saved…
-
@Leonard Mallare-Oracle Thanks for the debug log trick. Let me start with adding it to these scripts and see if I can figure out which script either isnt running or isn't running correctly. I have been able to determine from more testing that after the deposit application is saved, the next time I edit and save a sales…

Updating that section of text resolved the error on save. Your update looks almost exactly the same as what was there. What changes did you make? Now I can create and edit a sales order without error. I created a sales order and a deposit on that SO. The customer is showing in the saved search, but when I view the sales…

That fixed the issue with being able to run the script. I applied the same .js fix to all 4 scripts and deloyed them all. Now when creating a sales order or editing an existing one, I get the following error {"type":"error.SuiteScriptError","name":"INVALID_FORMULA_FIELD","message":"Your formula has an unrecognized field in…

Good Morning Leonard, I have disabled all scripts related to this specific process. I have not disabled all scripts that affect our sales order. It does work correctly with all of the other scripts enabled. It only fails when adding in this new script. Here are the UE and Client Scripts we currently have running on the…
-
This section of script only runs when creating a new sales order. Editing an existing one does not error out. That is unless I deploy the second script for "Update Custom Fields User Event Script". When doing that, it will also give the same error on trying to edit and save an existing sales order. I originally deployed…
-
@Leonard Mallare-Oracle I commented out everything except for the return and still get the error message. Here is the text version of what I deployed. Nothing in the deployement excecution logs either. Did I comment out one too many lines or not enough?

Hi Lenoard, The script, in txt form, is attached. It was copied and pasted from here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite/ns-online-help/section_157141180023.html Here is the screen shot of the error. It looks like it may be erroring out the instant it tries to run the script as there are no logs being created…
