"Did I pay vendor John Doe last month?"
"Take me to my largest sales order for this month."
"What invoices haven't been paid yet?"

Our integrations are also having difficulty starting around 11:45 am EST, and some users are reporting our SuiteCommerce website is not loading, and are not able to login to the NS UI.
-
Denise, thank you for tracking that down for me! Hitting ctrl + p...

Yes, we've been having trouble with the Paypal api all morning... Might have something to do with the large DDOS attack going on right now. Netsuite filed a defect for us, hoping that it will resolve itself sooner than later...

Sean, Any updates on the Decision Manager for NetSuite? We are seeing an increasing volume in fraudulent transactions and it's getting to be a little frustrating. An integrated DM would be very helpful.
-
Cybersource does give you some decent fraud protection tools on the edit credit card processing profile page, but what kills us is the fact that you can't return a message to the customer during checkout that they have an AVS mismatch. Has anyone customized their checkout to do this? We'd much prefer to give the customer…
-
Sean, any news on general availability of this feature? We recently moved to CS for our CC processing and this feature would be pretty valuable to us.
-
Thanks for the response, Sean. The majority of the issues with multiple authorizations in our web store occur because of our shipping workflow for international and wholesale accounts. These customers are charged actual shipping rates, and since we don't use integrated shipping rates we are left to assess the actual…

skennedy, We would benefit greatly from enhancement 133625. I just voted on it and included my feedback. Is there any chance this enhancement makes it into the next point release? We handle dozens of calls and emails a week from irate customers. Most of the time its not a big deal, but when a customer is charged an…

Ok thanks Mr X, that answers my question. I guess we'll either need to start targeting specific customer segments or buy more emails.
-
Sasha, you can mark the items that are no longer available as "inactive". This will automatically remove the options from your webstore. You can inactivate the items in question through a CSV import file or directly in the netsuite UI by navigating to the parent item, marking it as inactive and then checking only the items…

Thanks for this! Is there a way to modify this script to simply remove a specific item from any assembly it's a member of?
-
I'd like to hear from someone who has used this module as well. Anyone out there care to give us a little feedback?
-
Janie, thanks for the response - I was hoping you had given it a whirl but I don't blame you. We have had mixed results using the advanced inventory management module and that is why I'm a little leery of this one. Seems to me it should just be included as an update to that module rather than yet another billable…

Well several weeks have gone by and our case has been downgraded from S2 (Avg. of 30 days to resolution) to S3 (No target - workaround available). The workaround they suggested we use? Manually set our reorder points. Yeah. Manually set reorder points for 20,000+ items. Come on. If the feature doesn't work as advertised,…

Just thought I'd update this post with some new info. We recently noticed a field called "Expected Demand Change" on individual item records: Since the global value is not actually working in auto-calculated inventory numbers, we were curious if this manual override would... We did a test on a few items last night and sure…
-
Evan & Damon, Thanks for taking the time to read and respond to my question. I have created case #861843 "Estimated Demand Change - Not Working". To test whether this feature was working, we changed our default EDC from 25% (been that number for a long time) to 0% and hit 'save and calculate'. After the new calculations…
-
Evan, are you saying there's a way to gather the sub-items of the matrix parent item and then use that data to display in the web store? I thought this was not possible... ? If so, please can you give us a good idea how it would be done?
-
One more thing... try the page you're designing in a different browser or on a different computer. I've seen NS give that error on some browsers/pcs and not others at the same exact time. It's bizarre, I know. But if it's working on a different browser/pc then at least while you design it you can test it.

Kevin, Are you using Mac OSX and Firefox? That's my setup (Firefox v2.0.0.11), and I switched to Safari (v. 3.0.4) and noticed I was able to create one of the items I was unable to create earlier using Firefox...
-
Scott, Sometimes NetSuite encounters delays from the time you create custom item fields and the time when they become available to use in the webstore and on item templates. I have experienced delays of up to several days, however recently it has been a much quicker time frame, from immediate availability to at most a…

I previously noticed that Firefox was the cause of this issue, but I think I jumped the gun. I just started having this problem AGAIN, and now Safari has the same problem. So it's definitely just a coincidence about which browser I happened to be using... there's something wrong with our accounts! Netsuite, please get on…
-
I just wanted to add that I'm able to add items today... seems like whatever was wrong with my account/setup is fixed.
-
Kevin, I have been experiencing the same issue over the past two days, however it is only in my account (Administrator Role). I tried creating the same exact item name/number on a co-worker's account (Full Access Role) and it worked just fine. I have not yet entered a case with NL, but when I do I'll let you know what…

Just fyi - it requires there be sales for at least half the analysis interval for the auto-calculate to work - so you would have needed 3 months of sales. Evan, does the Seasonal Analysis Interval work the same way? IE, if I set seasonal analysis to 6 months (6 month period starting one year ago), does that mean that if an…

Unfortunately that is "by design". There does not appear to be a way to choose when/where to display the "display name". If there's anything in that field, it will print on your transactions. Because of this I've found that it is not worth using (at least in our case). If you're worried about adding keywords to your items…

Unless I'm doing something wrong, this feature does not work at all for us. I wanted to use it on a service item, it didn't work. I read this post and tried applying the marginal rates feature to an inventory item to test it out, and it *still* did not work. When "marginal rates" is checked our web store just uses the…

Items with "auto" set for reorder and preferred levels do not work. We have had this issue since the feature was released and even today it is still being worked on by our Netsuite support people. For example, qty to purchase should be 1 (according to the "help" screen) and not 73 as per Netsuite's "order inventory". We…
-
I knew I spoke too soon. I received a notice from NS Support that my issue had been fixed, but when I checked some of our trouble items they were still back ordered even though only a few are committed and we have plenty on hand. When looking at the case/issue # in the email I noticed it was not the same as the one I just…
-
Thanks for your insightful replies, Angela & Dale. We purposely do not use drop ship SO's, so I know that can't be a reason for the inventory issue. Also, no one around the office seems to have known that they could change the way that line items were committed on the Sales Order, so I think we can rule that one out as…
-
Nate, Yes they did manage to fix this issue, exactly as Andrew described it. We were told our database was too big and in order to prevent our account from degrading system performance for other accounts we had to have it set up so that the "quantity as of date above" always shows "current on hand quantity". I wonder what…
