Thanks Jam, I came across the 'serial/lot numbers' field and that gave the quantity breakdown when multiple lots are used for a component. The output style isn't pretty, but the information is visible. The output is displayed as follows "lot number 1(quantity1) lot number2(quantity2)" This may be as good as it gets!

Hi Jam, Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, this does not give me what I want. This is basic detail on a single item/assembly. The Lot/Serial Trace SuiteApp gives far better information on a single item. What I am looking for is to enter a work order number and get all components issues with their associated quantity…

I am trying to create a report that shows all components and their associated lot numbers that were issued to a work order in a single report. Saved Searches limitations mean we cannot access the inventory detail on the work order issue transaction. The Lot/Serial Number Trace suite app works with either the component lot…

If you watch this video, it is a very clear set of instructions and includes the bit from Southern Sons While it is for invoices you can use for purchase orders. If you have an approval workflow for the purchase order you will need to find the stage in the workflow that sends the email and update accordingly

Thanks, Ayie, Have created a SuiteIdea - might get lucky!
-
Hi Ayie, I don't have any account categories set up. If I try to make an account category for the bank accounts and then exclude bank accounts I get an error. You need to nominate a 'type', either inflow or outflow and bank accounts do not qualify for either. Thanks Ruth

Hi @Dext3r, Did you manage to get this resolved? I have this report that lists serial numbers one per line. You may like to limit the transaction types to IR and IF and just serial items. I use this to track transactions against a particular lot or serial numbers. Hopefully it is a good base start for you. Cheers, Ruth

Thanks Ming. That worked a treat. After working out I needed the LENGHT function I had no idea how to use it. Cheers, Ruth

Thanks Tris

Thanks Tigran for your solution. I was heading that way, but not being to identify the field to copy into the custom field stopped me. I did manage to get the date via a nested CASE WHEN formula so did not attempt your solution. I changed the base of the saved search to 'transaction' with type = work order. I then accessed…

Hi Niks, I am trying to customize the "Order Allocation Alerts" report. This is the result I am getting are What I would like to see is the max expected supply date as highlighted - this is the critical piece of information. You need to drill down in each work order to find the information. Most of our work orders have…
-
Thanks for your response Niks, Interesting that the behavior is not in line with the suggestion as to why items don't appear in an inventory count!
-
Apologies for delay in getting back to you. Looks like I added the incorrect screenshot. Yes, I have used field ID without success.
-
Hi Niks, Here are the screen shots for criteria and results. I am using an Item Search. My goal is to first group by WMS Item Family, then by Inventory Classification. With a count for Name and sum on Formula (Numeric) for Value on Hand
-
Thanks ZCWF3, sadly max and min do work either.
-
Hi Niks, Yes, I am using the Administrator role when receiving the errors. Why is the Formula (Text) error standard behavior when this is a solution for the initial error? Refer SuiteAnswers ID 63681. Thanks,
-
Thanks Joy.
-
Thanks, so it appears that the short answer is no we can't get the required report.
-
Thanks Andrew, Brilliant bit of information!
-
The record type is Item and the Field is 'Bin Number' but like Lea I can't see filter for fields.
-
Brilliant! Thanks Ivy
-
Thank Ivy. I am working in analytics workbooks and not saved search. Formula (text) is a saved search field only I think. I do want to remove the leading or trailing information. Ideally I will end up with 2 columns eg 40 FAT Testing MCA - Mechanical Assembly
-
Hi Joy, It is the data from work order completions as below Thanks,
-
Thanks
-
I am trying to access the video but it is coming up as Private
-
Thankyou
-
Hi Ivy, The formula wasn't quite enough. While it reduced some of the lines, I end up with a downtime value at each of the operations. See below below is the data from am production downtime records Then when I add planned time to the search the results blow out again Hopefully you have some other ideas. Thanks,
-
Hi Katerina, Yes it was an approval issue. We had do not allow edit after approval checked. Thanks for you help.
-
Thanks Tiru and Katerina for your assistance. When I try to edit the Req I get the following message. This is using the administrator role so permission shouldn't be an issue. Wondering if there is a set enable feature I can't locate.
