So has anyone heard of a solution to this? We've had another one today, but it's even more frustrating, because the authorization says 'expired.' We couldn't process payment even if we wanted to! The customer says it's still holding on their account, and they phoned PayPal and they won't cancel it from his end. Madness!!…

I have the exact same issue. One of our customers made a duplicate order, and wanted one cancelled. I closed the sales order on the NetSuite side, but the authorization isn't cancelled. It's not an enhancement - this problem ties up funds on the customer's CC or PayPal account.

It's my understanding that the changes to the item wouldn't be retroactive to transactions. To change previous records, I would think you would have to edit then re-save the transactions which include those items. That would change the expense account on your transactions, and subsequently your financial statements.

I use the CC functionality for when we have automatic transactions on our card. For example, we get our phone bill emailed and charged to our card on the same day. Saves me time to just make a charge on the CC in NetSuite to that vendor - so it shows up in the vendor transactions as type Credit Card.

I've got the same problem. I want to remove the link but keep the customer and keep the partner. I've tried Evan's suggestion of deleting the partner, but I cant because it has 'child records' which belong to the customer aspect of the link.
