I was thinking the same also but when investigating the Dept field on the Employee record, the Field ID = department (and the same for Location & Class respectively); not "custentity_".

Good point khultquist. However we will want to refer to the transaction on a saved search, displaying the "modified internal id". Therefore if 'store value' = F then we lose search result visibility. I hope by scripting the "modified internal id" field I will then have the ability to reference this field for future…

I created a custom free-form test field (to match my "modified internal id" field type) with 'store value' = F and am unable to select this test field within the search criteria and cannot select the field to display within the results. Thanks for the reply Oz. The tag is a custom field: <NLCUSTBODY_ACVT_SO_DELAY_REASON_CODE> The field is a multi-select field with 5 list options. The custom list that populates this field have internal id's 1 through 5. When the email is generated, only the internal id(s) 1 through 5 display.

This appears to still be a problem, and especially with OpenAir integration where through the OA integration manager we are unable to generate invoices because the due date is being set to 'blank'. I have logged a defect case (1621871) and referenced Steve's case (1620728).
