Hi @Micah Timbol-Oracle Thanks for your suggestion. Can you detail / share an example how the Inventory Activity Detail can be used? In general, it seems like this use case is still a bit niche and as such, industry/best practice is rather limited. Thank you!

Hi Ivy, This is perfect, thank you!

Hello, In addition, we have close to 100 store locations; is there a bulk way of calculating demand plan for all of these locations at once instead of selecting one location each time? thanks.
-
Let me know if if I am missing anything or misunderstanding the process, but In further testing on this I found that netsuite does the planning backwards from stores’ demand. So in calculating the demand for those, that then will be used for the supply plan which will create the TO’s from wh to stores. In the supply plan…

Thank you Michelle, Camille! Appreciate the detailed recommendation and fast response. It appears that the ability to have a trend reporting within the financial report itself is still an enhancement. For this will try the trend graph approach. Also I think suiteanalytics workbook could be useful as well with its ability…

Hi Micah, Many thanks for looking into this. Yes we have been trying the Fixed Allocation (given that we haven't turned on the dynamic allocation yet) but I think we cannot hard code the weight, because for example what if for a period vendor A has higher source account balance than vendor B. What the allocation will do is…

This is the most concise and easiest to understand explanation I have ever seen :-) Thank you, Herdi!! Much appreciated.
-
Hi Gurus. Just wanted to check in on this one if there is any update? Appreciate it, thank you!
-
Thank you Herdi I'm thinking it can be a scheduled script. It will be triggered after submitting intercompany purchase orders. If it is too much of a complication I think the ability to make the location mandatory in the manage interco sales order page would significantly help too.
-
Thank you so much! that was a detailed and very quick response. We'll consider this in the planning stage and go back here in case anything comes up. But so far this has been very informative, thank you Herdi!

Thank you! I thought my question wasn't posted as there was a sudden downtime/interruption on the site. I'll have a look, thank you Herdi

Hi Jack, Since it seems that the standard PO approval cannot accommodate, I have abandoned this approach and went with a custom workflow instead. I installed the bundle 239645 (this mimics the standard approval although in workflow form) and followed the steps in Suite answers ID 20737, adding a send email action in the…

Hi Jack, Thanks for following up. Yes tried that as well yesterday but still did not work... thank you for all your help.
-
Thank you Jack. I did as instructed however it appears the approve button cannot be found on the transition. I think it is because this is using the standard approval routing, instead of a button added via add button workflow action. Below are the logs. It appears that the workflow actions are not being triggered at all.…

Hi Jack, Thank you for your response. Deselecting Approve however will immediately email the PO to the Vendor upon create/save, which is not ideal for us as we need it to be emailed upon approval only. Hope there is another way? Thanks
-
That's perfect, I didn't realise that those two actions can be ordered together. Tested this and works nicely Thank you Pauline!! Oh and by the way -- I didn't create anymore a PO Acknowledged Checkbox but instead did the following condition. Cheers.! Nic

Hi Pauline, Yup, but in the create record action there doesn't seem to be an option to open in edit mode. If we use go to record, then there is no option to auto populate the child record to the parent record's custom field (similar to create record's 'store results in'). In this case we might need scripting, particularly…
-
Hi Pauline, Much appreciated, thank you for the very detailed solution. This did address the problem You understood the scenario pretty well even with limited information. For the PO# I just used current record so that value of PO# can be retrieved. And for the PO # in supplier acknowledgement, I made it inline so it that…

And last question -- we already have transactions in the periods. I believe those can no longer me modified? and best bet would just be to consider the change in future period with no transactions yet. Thank you!!
-
Hi Camille, Also just to add, we already have calendar periods set up as below. I noticed in your example that the accounting and tax reporting calendars have the same name. Does it mean that in your example there is just one common fiscal calendar but it is set up differently in accounting and tax calendar? My other…
-
Hi Camille, This is really helpful!! Thank you. Just some follow-up Questions: 1. Below is how our tax reporting periods currently look like. Is it still possible to modify this to calendar months? If so, what is the best way to do it -- I believe we would have to manually do it per period? 2. NetSuite actually throws…

Hi Herdi, This is great! Thank you. For us since we are using estimated landed cost, there is no need for us to source the bill in the item receipt, since the landed cost template automatically assigns the estimated landed cost. Seeing that the main use of the landed category is for the sourcing through reference number, I…

Hi Camille, Will, Yup, so far that did the trick and I can see the values I want. Many thanks for your consultation

Hi Camille, Appreciate so much your looking into this! May I ask for a few questions: * What type of Saved Search are you planning to create? * I'm trying to do a Transaction saved search. Below is so far the parameters and results but it's not getting the results desired. * * If this will be created from a Report, what…
