Awesome. thank you both for your help. If the Admin role stays off SSO then we shouldn't have a problem. It's useful to not have SSO in Sandbox so our partners can use other roles in Sandbox but we can remove that after each refresh so shouldn't be difficult.

You can change this on the employee record but only until the users has posted transactions. If the user has posted any transactions then the only solution I know of is to inactivate the user and create a new employee record for them under the new Subsidiary. Would be interesting to know if anyone knows anything different…

Well my N is variable. I have a number of tasks being populated. some of these are 5 working days after month end. some of them are 6 working days after month end etc. This is the type of thing I need ( just to give the gist) -…

I see. But I want to not include weekends in the calculation at all. I only want to add 6 working days. Not six days. So from 1/1/2021 6 working days gives me 8/1/2021. 6 days will give me 6/1/2021. Does that makes sense?

Hi Red, SO the formula works so thank you for that. the only thing is we only want to add working days. SO for example I have changed N to 6 and the result is 06/01/2021. However the 2nd and 3rd of January are weekends so N=6 should be a result of 08/01/2021. How can I adjuts the formula to account for that? I appreciate…

Sorry Red, I just realized after sending my screenshots that I had copied the words 'Formula NUmeric' in to my formula!!! Sorry. I have just removed that and it works now. Thank you so much for your help. Chris

HI Red, Thanks for the quick reply. I have tried but I am getting the following error - The field looks like this - And the workflow populating the sublist records looks like this - The error is with the Target Completion Date field because everything else has worked to date. Thank you Chris

Hi Micah, Thanks for the reply. If I am the only one with a problem then maybe the problem is with me rather than the interface! Does my screenshot reflect how everyone else is seeing it? Personally I thought the navigation of the previous site was much more intuitive and visually accessible. It also scaled much better…

I figured it out. The budget i was viewing was set to only be in USD. I had to untick the GLOBAL tickbox on the create new budget page and then it allowed me to create the budget in GBP. Then the Subsidiary Context of the report was not locked. Thanks

Do you mean you want a second drop down next to Class this is filtered by your Class selection? For example it will be blank unless you select Season, then it will populate with four options? If so you might want a custom segment dependant on Class. C

I think this is the answer you want from user @"kvillar" The Purchase Order Quantity Tolerance is percentage difference of per line quantities in Vendor Bill and Purchase Order while the Purchase Order Quantity Difference will be the absolute value difference of per line quantities between the Vendor Bill and Purchase…

Thanks Jack. I just made that change and it appears to work. Many thanks for your help. Simple when you know how! Thanks Chris
-
Thanks Pauline. I appreciate you looking in to it. I will get our developers to look in to a script for this then. Many thanks C

Have you tried using Discount Items though? These do not discount the whole Sales Order/Invoice, only the immediately proceeding line. That should meet your needs no? If you haven't come across this before look at Discount Items in the Help Centre C

Have you tried Setup > Company > Email Preferences > From Address for emailed forms? c

Hi Micah, Thanks for the reply. There is only an Acquisition line there is no depreciation line so I can only get as far as step 6 of your steps above. Chris

I have checked this on a number of Transaction Reports and am getting the same behaviour. Today is the first it has been noticed. Yes it is reproducible on other reports. If I add a new filter then the window does open as expected but it only happens on current filters.

Has still no one ever found a solution to this? That's a bit silly. I'm sure I am not the only one still needing to publish an employee centre dashboard. NS Support just tell me I need to purchase Suitepeople HR which isn't going to happen. Any one else got any input? Chris
-
Thats brilliant. Works a treat. thank you so much for that. I should be able to figure out the others now. Thanks Chris
-
Just realised it cant be done this way as some accounts don't have a parent so that has to be taken in to consideration..

I havent actually tried this so sorry if I am barking up the wrong tree but if the employee has the same work calendar each week can you just change your Sum Formula (Numeric) to Maximum Formula (Numeric). It should just then return one result? Chris
-
That's really helpful. Thank you for that. That's what I was looking for C

Hi @"Chance Fry" Thanks for the reply. Yes that solution works. Thank you. So is it not possible to use or to make a criteria like if this and (this or this or this or this). Or would you always do it as separate When statements? Chris
-
I agree with this. I have only ever used the timing on the workflow rather than on the action in situations like this. You just need to set the action as on Entry to trigger.
-
Anyone got any input on this? It would be much appreciated. Even some useful links would do. Thanks Chris
-
That does help. Thanks Jack. Such a simple issue but i was so focused on looking for expense report i didn't think to look for transaction. Thanks Chris

@"Herdi Rana-Oracle" is correct. If a purchase order is raised for 3 laptops but 4 were supplied then either an additional purchase order should be raised for the extra laptop or post the bill for the additional as a standalone bill and send it for approval. This would be my treatment. Chris

Well most of the columns are fairly standard but the amount columns are throwing some irregular figures. The three amount columns are Net Amount, Tax Amount and Gross Amount. The Box 4 report recognises these as monetary positives and negatives but the saved search views them as accounting transactions so the positive and…

Thanks Camille, That makes sense. Yes it wouldn't be ideal to have access to the reports in another role but if that is the only reason for the warning then it's fine. i think it is preferable to creating another custom role when I don't want to give the Tax Accountant role. Thank you Chris

This is controlled by the To Be Emailed checkbox. You will probably find this on the communication tab of the Purchase Order form. If it is ticked it will email the PO to the provided email address when saved (or approved). If you customise the PO form and find the to be emailed field you can set the default. Chris
