Ampersands '&' in company names breaking Online Form URLs
We are looking to use Online Customer Forms to ask customers to verify certain data. When we pass company name as a URL parameter, this works fine until we have a customer that has an ampersand in their name. Unfortunately, we have quite a lot of customers with ampersands in their name. When we get to an ampersand, it just truncates everything after the ampersand.
For example: "Smith & Wesson", becomes "Smith". Then the online form data doesn't populate, a new customer "Smith" gets created and everything goes downhill from there.
Has anyone come across this before? Is there an elegant way to resolve this?
