Uncheck "Create Planned Time" on existing projects

Hello,

I am fairly new to NetSuite but a question has arisen in my company. Management are looking for the "planned time" on projects feature to be disabled.

I have used the Support tab and attained the following information regarding setting up a new project:
https://netsuite.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/35547/kw/create%20planned%20time

My question is does anyone know a way to uncheck the same checkbox but for existing projects?
