Some of our accounts have been setup as historical rate (ie. prepaid and fixed assets). However, we notice that these accounts have residual balances in the consolidation even though the balances are zero in local subsidiary. In the past, we fix this by using elimination entries but now these subsidiary are inactive and having balances in consolidated confuses our auditors.
Is there a way to zero out these residual balances?
