iPhone - SuitePhone

Hey Guys,

We are thinking about rolling out the iPhone as our company phone and one of the benefits for doing so would be the much hyped SuitePhone functionality that would allow us to access Netsuite from the iPhone.

I've got my hands on the new iPhone, using 3G, and after some investigation, discovered that the 'SuitePhone' functionality is actually just Netsuite being accessed through Safari....

Am I missing something?

Without being connected to a wireless network, the speed of accessing Netsuite is impossible so I'm not sure what all the fuss is about?  I see the salesforce.com has developed an app for the iPhone which I presume is a lightweight version.
