Big Integration Project ... worth the risk using SS 2.0?

So,

Looking for an opinion for everyone.  I'm starting a large, REST-only integration project.  I'm 100% confident on a successful implementation using SS 1.0.  I want to offer the client the 'latest and greatest' from Netsuite, but don't want to get half way through to find another half-baked or unimplemented feature in SS 2.0.

In short, would you go 1.0 or 2.0?
