Outside Sales Reps- access

I want to give outside sales reps the ability to log-on and check the sales of their customers, commissions, inventory reports, ect. Is there an easy way to do this? I was thinking of something similar to the Customer Center.

We had a Netsuite Consultant, and he briefly mentioned setting up the outside reps as partners? I looked in to this, and the only thing I could really find was the Advanced Partner Center. This requires us to buy new roles, and we have too many outside reps to do this.

Is there an easier way to give these guys basic access to their customer info?
