Subcustomer using different Currency

Good day!

Our company is starting to attract global customers. Since our global customers have multiple customers, we are setting up a handful of subcustomers. However, when we setup these subcustomers, we can't seem to change the currency (since we will charging them in different currencies).

Does anyone know why we can have subcustomers with a different currency than the parent company?
