Customer Tax Information
We are new with NS (Jul2011) and looking to streamline the Customer Tax Information.
The challenge we have is where the customer is exempt in more than one State. We collect sales tax for Canada, TX, IL, WI, CT, and NJ with more coming down.
I would like to be able to set up customers and show all States where they are exempt, the exemption number and still be able to tax them in States where they are not exempt.
First question, does NS accomodate more than one tax id #? How do you show customer is exempt in which States and taxable in other States?
