Best Practices for Software Company with Subscription Product
We are a SaaS company that sells software licenses. Those licenses renew annually, both automatically (auto-renew) and manually, and can be paid for in monthly or annual payments. The software can be purchased by itself or with hardware bundles. The hardware is paid for up front and does not renew with the software. We have an online store and will build a new one with SuiteCommerce to offer our software with different hardware add-ons or bundles.
We're new to NS and are looking for the best way to handle what we see to be a fairly common use case. The contract renewals module was forced on us at first and that really doesn't fit us. We're looking to undo that and move forward with SuiteBilling as it seems to better fit our subscription model.
