Charge card at fulfillment
We have a use case where we would like to associate a credit card with a sales order and charge it at fulfillment (perhaps after pack and before ship). There will be no authorization at the time of submission of the sales order.
If the charge fails the order will be held & not shipped.
These are B2B transactions for relatively expensive items. Backorders are common, so having an authorization outstanding for several days is not acceptable by our customer base as it impacts their liquidity.
Any pointers?
Thanks
