cannot delete one saved report (formerly scheduled report)

i have one report which i need to delete.  it is a saved report.  it was once scheduled to email daily.  that email never worked (kept getting daily emails with error messages about report failing).

i deleted the schedule.  that was fine.  got confirmation and no issues.  then i went to delete the report.  it said i cannot b/c it has associated schedules.  but it doesnt!  i checked.  there are no scheduled reports which rely on this report.

obviously something is wrong with the original scheduling of the report (ergo the failed emails).  now what do i do?  help!!!
