Customer ID and Customer Name merged

When creating a new transaction the Customer:Job field shows the customer ID and Customer number merged... why is this??

Also on our html template for the customer name field it displays the customer ID + Customer Name + Name. Any suggestions on how to fix this so only the contacts name displays?
