Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

Promo Code Problem - SO vs Cash Sale
Hi all,
We use a number of promo codes that give our customer a discount if they order over a certain amount - $20 off if they spend $100, for example. However, we also do a lot of partial shipping and drop shipping, so we bill the SO amount over several smaller cash sales.
When an individual cash sale is less than the threshold amount for the promo code, NetSuite ignores the promo code. This means that if someone orders $150 worth of items, and has it split into two orders of $75, they don't get any discount applied. Further, if they had it split into orders of $100 and $50 instead, the $100 order only gets the proportional amount of the promo code applied (in this case, 2/3 of the promo code discount). The $50 would still get nothing.
