Importing sales orders and name/item syntax

I need to import salesorders via CSV. I can get it to work using internal id's of the items but I would really like to use Item Name/Number field.

I'm running into a problem and I think it's related to parents and subitems.

All of the ones that have failed have been subitems of parents.

What syntax do you use to denote the item is a subitem with a parent so it will match up?
