Auto-assign bin #
We're looking to enhance our workflow including a way to auto-assign a bin # for partially produced orders.
Some background....we manufacture custom products that may consist of multiple line items per main product, as well as products that may consist of a single line item.
For example, the following line items may appear on a sales order:
Product A
Subproduct A1
Subproduct A2
Subproduct A3
Product B
In this example, Product A and all subproducts A1-A3 are actually one item. Product B is a separate item. In our manufacturing, Product B is typically produced before Product A and must wait until Product A is completed before being billed and fulfilled. Additionally, products A and B typically are separated after order entry and follow a unique path in manufacturing.
