Role Permissions Question: Transaction Subtab Invisible

I don't have much experience with different roles so this might be a really easy thing to do.

As an admin, when I look at a customer record, I have a 'Sales' tab and then a 'Transactions' subtab which I use to see all the customers recent transactions right on their record.

I have created a custom role based on 'Sales Manager' and although this role does see the 'Sales' tab, he only has 'Items' and 'Upsell' sub tabs, no 'Transactions'.

Any ideas as to what I need to add/edit to get this subtab.
