Add Message Using Script
Is there a way to add a Message record to a transaction form (invoice, purchase order) in the Communication...Messages sub-tab when we send an email via script (e.g. nlapiSendEmail)? When NetSuite out of the box sends emails, these messages appear there. We would like to show a record from the invoice or PO that we sent an email using a script.
This would help our end users tremendously as they would have an indicator that the email successfully was sent without having to ask the software developers to look it up. I will post this on SuiteAnswers as well, but I'll bet I get good assistance here if it is possible.
