Set Shipping Methods Per Item
Please vote for this enhancement 134472, Ability to set Shipping Methods on a per item basis. Set available Shipping Methods on item record.
Here are some examples where this would enhance some critical limitations:
1. Some items can ship next day air and its not an option for other items. Currently shipping methods have to be offered on every product or no products.
2. Some items are UPS-able and should have the various UPS shipping methods available. Others items are oversized and exceed the UPS ground size limits. So if we want to offer UPS next day service for small UPS-able items, we have to also offer UPS next day service on oversized items. Imagine next day air on a piano or something.
