Create New bar 2010.2 = have the option to show labels

Hi,

For the create new bar is there any way to have an option to 'show labels' for the create new options.

Especially for custom records (which all have the same generic icon - so boring and unintuitive) this new version which only shows the icon and not the name it is a step backwards.

Can you allow a 'show labels' checkbox to make it easier for users who may not know what a little generic icon, next to a bunch of other little generic icons, is supposed to mean?

Even if you did allow the custom records to have custom icons (like salesforce has done for 4 years - AND makes things easier to use - a stated goal of the new UI) we would still want to show labels as our users need all the help they can get.
