Workflow not firing on condition, OK w/ saved search

I'm getting nowhere fast on a new Customer/Lead workflow. If I use a saved search, the workflow fires OK, but if I replace the saved search with a condition (testing for same key/value as the search) then the record never even enters the workflow.

My condition on the workflow is: "Company : SNS Workflow Test = T"

I'm hoping I can pull this off with conditions, otherwise this whole workflow will require four or five saved searches. Yuck.
