Good received after picking note is printed?
We occasionally short ship customers because a picking note will say to pick 12 items with 3 to follow. The 12 on the shelf are picked but between picking and fulfilment the remaining 3 items arrive. When the note is fulfilled the delivery note will be for 15 and the customer will receive 12.
It is very difficult for a packer to spot the change in quantity from the picking list and packing note because many of our orders have multiple lines and we tend to bulk fulfil.
Has anyone managed to devise a script to check for additional stock that has been committed to an order since the picking note was printed. We need to block fulfilment's until a new picking note is printed to reflect accurately the correct number of items.
