UOM and Conversation Rates

How can I get to the value of the conversion rate?

I receive products into inventory in cases (such as a "case with 12 bottles") and need to convert the inventory to liters, gallons, etc. I also need to track the pack size when I report on liters/gallons. How do I get to the base number of units and the pack size for a UOM such as a 12-pack? The number that I am looking for is the number "12" which is the conversion number to convert the case pack to "each".

In Lists > Accounting > Units of Measure, all our pack sizes are set up with the associated base unit and the conversion number.
