Integration with scales for Fedex

We are using Advanced shipping with integration with Fedex for shipping costs.  The scales we are using do not integrate with Netsuite.  Has anyone heard if this is an enhancement? Do people care?  We do not have weights on our items but add weight of packages at the Item Fulfillment center and would like the weight on the scale to automatically populate the IF record so we can recalc shipping and charge an accurate rate.  We do multiple fulfillments from 1 sales order so it is important to have each IF have the accurate weight for the packages associated with
