Inventory Activity Detail Report

When I run this report for a given time frame, it gives me a beginning balance.  However, if I add a filter of a certain location, I lose the beginning balance.

I need to run a report that gives me the activity detail on an inventory item by location -- showing the beginning balance, the quantity on each transaction, and a running total. What am I doing wrong?
