kits on reports...help!

Can someone explain me how to show kits on the reports, please?

It only shows inventory items and assemblies. The is a filter option where I specified the item type like : inventory, kit and assembly. But it doesn't show the kits.. what can I do to get them on the report?

Is there something i'm missing here? It is possible?
