Saved Search - Audience = Public: Problem?
The "public" check box is so invitingly placed on saved searches. And it is REQUIRED for certain things, i.e., to make a search an alert is has to be "public".
The definition of "public" appears to mean that it is available to ALL ROLES. I can't imagine that this means that all customers, vendors, and partners will have access to a sensitive saved search with the "public" checkbox checked (so that I can make it an alert for myself), but perhaps someone can educate me on the finer points as to why checking "public" on sensitive saved searches is, or is not, an OK thing to do.
