Using OR in a finacial report

Hopefully there is an easy answer for this, but I cannot figure out how to do it.  I have an income statement report I'm running.  One of my criteria is that the class be equal to a certain value (lets call the value A).  I also have a custom field that I can add in on the filters section of the report.  I need the report to show everything where the class is equal to A OR the custom field is equal to B. 
Of course when I add this filter on it does an AND not an OR.  Does anyone know how to do this correctly?
