Can't retrieve customer password
We have a website which is not part of NetSuite. All our customers, however, are managed within NetSuite.
I'd like to authenticate users to our website by making a call via NetSuite web services to retrieve the customer record - based on the supplied email address. I'd then check their supplied password with the password retrieved from NetSuite.
Unfortunately it seems that the value of the password field is not returned with the customer object. I assume this is some sort of security feature.
Since our customers won't ever be logging on to NetSuite (nor do we want them to), I will have to consider placing the passwords in a custom field and reading them back that way.
