nlapiRequestURL() Timeouts
Has anyone else experienced frequent timeouts from nlapiRequestURL calls. We have debugged this on our end and there appears to be lengthy DNS lookups happening which contribute to the 5s timeout. These happen on the first request of each execution context. This is causing many of our external requests to fail and creating a major headache for a monday morning.
Netsuite support mentioned a known defect but we are unsure of its status or defect ID.
function checkNetwork()
{
var start = new Date();
nlapiRequestURL('https://www.w3.org/favicon.ico?time=' + start.getTime());
var end = new Date();
console.log(end.getTime() - start.getTime());
