Displaying "list price" in dense lists

edited Jul 1, 2006 12:45AM in Web Site / E-Commerce 4 comments

Skyytek designed our site but was not able to solve this problem for us.
We wanted to display the base price or list price of our items in our dense lists. We needed this because when the customer is logged in, all prices appear with their discount applied, and our customers want to know that the list price is as well.

So we created a new custom field with the list price. However, in our dense lists, this price does not display properly. If the list price is $16.50, it's displayed as 16.5. If the list price is $15.00, it displays as 15. If the list price is $15.95, it displays as 15.95. In other words, it is not consistent and it is not consistent with the way the other prices display on our site. We had to add a dollar sign to the field name, just to make that appear.

Howdy, Stranger!
