Site Search Problem

As of today, whenever I do a search in our site from the home page, it only produces a handful of items.  This handful of items is what we have posted to the "Catalog" category.  We usually use this for testing.  Something has definitely changed.  If you type in fireplace screen in the search (of which we have hundreds of) it will only return a few.  This is new behavior as of a day or two ago.  Does anyone have any idea of what is going on with this?
