Product Feed Automation - Shopping.com, NexTag, etc

We are exploring NetSuite's capabilities in regard to comparison shopping engines like Shopping.com, NexTag, and Google Base (Google Product Search). NS has this capability somewhat built in, with some fields built in to the item tabs. Then we can run a custom search and export the results.

What I would like to know is what others have done to make the process more automated. Obviously we could log in to the CSE's and upload each file individually, but an automated FTP transfer sounds more acceptable. In regard to NS's capabilities (export CSV and XLS only), what have you done? Thanks!
