Please! Small help needed with displaying tabs

Hello,
I want to have a number of pages in my site which should NOT be on the tab-bar (the menu bar at the top) which appends every new presentation tab created, to it. (The tab-bar uses the default Basic Round Edges theme).
There are some other tabs that I want to be there, so I cannot remove the tab bar feature as a whole. I just want some pages, links for which I don't want in the tab-bar but somewhere else in the pages.
How can I achieve this? Please let me know.
