getAttribute of current user for Hosted Web Site

Is there a way to getAttribute of the current user visiting a Hosted site?

Something along the lines of:

<%=getCurrentAttribute('employee','entityid','Guest')%>


Basically I want to replicate the same result as the nlapiGetUser.
