User Migration to Netsuite E-Commerce / Best Practices
Hi all,
We're in the process of migrating from an old proprietary e-commerce platform to a Netsuite webstore. Obviously we'd like our customers to be able to use their existing user accounts to log into the new store. The problem we're having is that we cannot extract user passwords from the old system.
What are best practices to migrate customers over?
We could create a new password in Netsuite and send it out via email, but I'm wondering about security/privacy issues.
The only other way I can think of is sending out an email that asks users to initiate the password recovery process. However, the usability of this Netsuite process is ahem... less than stellar, so I'd rather avoid it.
