home page of suite commerce advanced?

We just have our site re-built with suite commerce advanced.
On our password protected shopping site, we use to open the home page. I have my news updated on the home page. Now it goes to "my account". The customer has to click home to go to my home page. If he doesn't know this, he would never see my news.
My site builder (netsutie) says open to my account is default on the suite commerce advanced module and they cannot change it.
Is there any way to change it so after log in, the site opens the home page instead of my account?
