Coupon or Promo codes don't work on Kit items. By Design?
We have a coupon with the code "shipfree" and it applies to a dynamic group of items. It applies to all items in a saved search and the saved search looks for all items with a "ships free checkbox" that is checked in the item's settings. It works just fine on all regular inventory items.
Any idea why it doesn't work on kit items?
The kit itself is checked as "free shipping" in the custom field. I checked and the kit items are showing up in the saved search. I then went and clicked the "free shipping check box" on all of the members of the kit. It still won't apply the coupon to the kit item in our webstore!
