Can I really *not* have more than one custom search on my dashboard?

I'd like to create a single dashboard to put on a big-screen on my sales bullpen - but the problem is, we have three or four sales teams, and to make any sense of things, we really need three or four separate reports.

We can't effectively use a custom report, because I need to add up Sales Orders, Cash Sales and Invoices to get a "total bookings" report (we have some products that go through a sales order workflow; and other that go straight to cash sale or invoice via a web API).
