Pipeline vs. Forecast
Hello, We are very new to NetSuite's Sales & Forecasting Report Features. I am trying to figure out NetSuite's definition of a pipeline versus a forecast? What does pipeline include that forecast doesn't and vice versa.
I know for us, internally, we define pipeline as qualified prospects that have not closed, have been given a dollar amount and a probability percentage. Forecast includes Prospect - Won (or Customer - Won) and include the dollar amount & the number of items expected to purchase.
I am looking to confirm our definitions of these two are in line with how pipeline and forecast is used in NetSuite.
