Estimates : Include in Forecast checkbox: where is it?

OK, I am exploring the estimate form and noticed I do not have a checkbox 'Include in Forecast' however when I look at the transaction form it shows the field and it is checked to 'Show'.

Is there a reason I'm not see this? Is it different if you are using Advanced Forecasting?

I see opportunities have a 'Forecast Type' but I want to be able to selectively include or not include specific quotes in the forecast.

What am I missing?
